Responsibilities

  • Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities.
  • Coaches and provides performance feedback for project staff.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of policies and work instructions.
  • Leads project reviews and conducts competency assessments for project execution teams.
  • Actively seeks improvement opportunities and influences the organization to continuously improve project execution.
  • Participates in and contributes to internal and external expert groups.
  • Leads project recovery efforts, including rapid assessment and turnaround of troubled projects.
  • Participates in the budgeting process with Management.
  • Participates in Sales and Operations Planning with Management and Sales/Business Development.
  • Takes actions to close potential gaps in project execution capacity.
  • Ensures projects follow execution best practices and EPE policies.
  • Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization.
  • Monitors and controls project financials, including invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Identifies, qualifies, quantifies, and manages project risks, and ensures opportunities are pursued.
  • Captures, analyzes, and shares lessons learned throughout the project.
  • Ensures projects are formally closed out as contractually agreed.
  • Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement.
  • Ensures all planning activities are performed properly by the assigned project team(s).
  • Ensures the project consistently applies contract and claims management.
  • Ensures required procurement activities are performed by the assigned resources.
  • Acts as key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issues.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Develops project execution staff through mentoring and coaching.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in managing Turnkey EPC power delivery projects.
  • Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and lead proposal / pursuit efforts.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.
  • Strong experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity, and innovation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous consulting experience preferred but not required.
