About the Role

As a Supply Planning Assistant, you will support the Supply & Demand Planning function by maintaining accurate stock, purchase order, and supply data. Your work will ensure inventory visibility, identify stock risks, and directly impact stock availability and flow across brands, contributing to a scalable supply planning function. This new role offers an opportunity to shape the function's development with a clear path for career progression.

Responsibilities

Track purchase orders and critical path milestones, following up with Procurement and suppliers on delays to ensure timely stock arrival.
Monitor inventory across suppliers, 3PL warehouses, and in-transit stock, highlighting stock-out, overstock, and understock risks.
Maintain accurate weekly stock reporting, including on-hand, on-order, and in-production inventory.
Support the Stock & Flow Plan by maintaining sales, stock, intake, and projected stock data at component level.
Coordinate stock movements, transfers, and kitting requirements with Procurement, Logistics, and 3PL partners.
Maintain accurate BOM data and support its migration into NetSuite, ensuring component information is complete.
Support inventory analysis and supply-side decision-making by providing regular stock risk updates.
Prepare data and follow up on actions from cross-functional meetings.
Identify opportunities to improve reports, processes, and ways of working to enhance supply planning efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience in merchandise planning, inventory, supply chain, or a related analytical role is beneficial.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and handling large datasets.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Good communication skills, with the ability to follow up confidently with stakeholders.

£30,000 to £34,000 GBP per year
