About the Role
We are seeking a Supply Planner to manage inventory levels, plan manufacturing, and build relationships with manufacturing partners. This role is crucial for ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintaining optimal inventory.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Master Resource Planning by arranging manufacturing for multiple SKUs within requested timeframes to fulfill customer orders.
- Serve as a stakeholder with the Demand team to plan and execute inventory levels that align with the forecast.
- Track inventory levels versus obsolescence across the distribution center network.
- Create Purchase Orders according to the Supply Plan and submit them to co-manufacturing partners for execution.
- Monitor monthly and weekly production plans to ensure manufacturing is on schedule and target inventory levels are satisfactory.
- Partner with the Contract Manufacturing team to develop and maintain effective relationships with co-manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate with the Customer Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy to meet requested fulfillment dates across multiple locations.
- Create regular production and inventory reports and work closely with the Supply Planning Manager to present findings, trends, and suggestions from inventory reporting.
- Monitor and measure team KPIs such as Fill Rate %, On Time %, Inventory Turns, etc.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a similar planning or related supply chain role is required.
- Strong Excel skills, including comfort with vlookups, pivot tables, and other formulas is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the CPG industry and Contract manufacturers preferred.
- Proficiency of inventory management systems such as Netsuite preferred.
- Strong understanding of planning tools such as Anaplan with the ability to model build preferred.
