About the Role

Leads Loss Prevention and Safety efforts within an assigned area, embodying company core values through various duties including surveillance, apprehension, compliance checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Conducts surveillance and apprehension of external theft suspects in compliance with JD Finish Line Standards.
• Completes Checklists to ensure compliance with safety or Loss Prevention policies.
• Promotes awareness programs related to shrink and operational controls.
• Assists with internal theft investigations.
• Identifies and reports merchandise or stock shortages.
• Maintains case records on operational, security, and injury-related incidents or investigations.
• Verifies and inspects access points, physical security systems, and equipment.
• Reports safety concerns or possible violations.
• Trains employees on systems, procedures, policies, and accident prevention methods.
• Responds to critical incidents, such as catastrophic events, medical emergencies, violent weather, or civil disorders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 or more years of related experience in Loss Prevention, Security, or Store Management.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office or Google Suite equivalents.
• Ability to sit or stand for more than 7 hours per shift.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, and feel.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk and hear.
• Ability to walk or move from one location to another regularly.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
