About the Role
The Artistic Intern will work closely with the Lincoln Center Theater and LCT3 Artistic Staff to bolster ongoing literary and producing projects. This role will facilitate administrative, artistic, and literary initiatives, with a focus on providing script coverage and aiding the Administrator to the Artistic Director on day-to-day departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Administrator to the Artistic Director with daily tasks on behalf of the artistic department.
- Help maintain script library, script tracking, and script coverage process in close correspondence with the Literary Manager.
- Aide in preparation for workshops, rehearsals, and special events for our fall creative endeavors.
- Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives, as assigned.
- Attend performances, readings, and other events in New York City as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of professional experience in artistic administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; flexibility, curiosity, and the ability to solve problems creatively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to execute work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, when required.
