About the Role

Thomas Electronics is seeking a Test Operator to support manufacturing operations by performing electrical testing, performance evaluations, and compliance verification of components, assemblies, and systems in accordance with established specifications and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical performance evaluations and testing of cathode ray tubes (CRTs).
  • Verify the proper integration of components into CRT assemblies and confirm compliance with established electrical and mechanical requirements.
  • Perform component assessments and compliance verification in accordance with established specifications and procedures.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and photometric equipment.
  • Conduct environmental stress screening evaluations and document test results.
  • Review test data and identify conditions that may require further investigation or corrective action.
  • Accurately record test results and maintain required documentation.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Previous experience using electronic test equipment required.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, photometric equipment, or similar testing equipment preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow technical specifications, work instructions, and established procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues during testing.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to meet production schedules and quality standards.
