About the Role
This Federal Work Study position will assist current students by providing support during their lab work as well as maintaining a safe and clean game lounge to relax and meet with other students, helping to further build a friendly community. In addition, this position will complement and reinforce a Federal Work Study student’s educational program or vocational goals by providing the working student technological skillfulness in computer software, customer relations, organization, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Check-in and Out students and Staff for Academic Labs and Game Lounge.
- Check-in and Out equipment and games for consoles.
- Maintain logs of users and equipment.
- Keep the labs and lounge clean and in working order.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with computers and consoles.
Requirements
- Outgoing and friendly
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
- Able to demonstrate effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and initiative; impeccable time management and organization.
