About the Role
Manage and grow the Residential Banking sales team to increase the Bank’s presence and competitive status. Act as a business advisor to drive success, aligning Residential Banking priorities with client experience, compliance, audit, and operations. Coach, develop, and inspire the team, while identifying and recruiting new members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of Residential Banking options to clients.
- Manage and grow the Residential Banking sales team.
- Act as a business advisor at the senior level.
- Align Residential Banking priorities with the Client Experience, compliance, audit, and operations.
- Coach, develop, and inspire the sales team.
- Identify, recruit, and hire new team members.
- Partner with all lines of business to develop and deliver referral opportunities.
- Monitor marketplace competition and trends and develop implementation plans into the sales strategy.
- Provide strong motivation to the sales team to produce profit, revenue, and productivity.
- Build rapport with clients and associates.
- Provide avenues for client relationship expansion.
- Treat others with respect and consideration.
- Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures.
- Complete a criminal history report, global screen, drug screen, employment credit report, and driving record if applicable.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in mortgage banking.
- 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Advanced knowledge of real estate law/government regulations for residential mortgages.
- Driving may be required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and driving history that meets the Bank’s driver standards.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to grasp, push, pull, lift, bend, raise and hold hands and arms overhead.
- Ability to meet with associates, clients, and leadership on short notice in various geographical regions.
- Must be available to clients and teams by phone/email at all hours of the day.
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work additional hours beyond traditional business hours.
- Must be able to travel as necessary.
