About the Role
This market-defining role is for a senior sales leader who thrives on strategic, high-impact selling and enjoys building a business from the ground up. As an Account Director, you will act as the CEO of your own portfolio, driving revenue growth across enterprise accounts ($1B+), managing the full account lifecycle, and leveraging internal teams to deliver exceptional results. This is a highly visible, strategic role for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges and taking ownership of outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle for new and existing accounts, including complex enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
- Act as the CEO of your accounts by managing resources, orchestrating stakeholders, and strategically leveraging internal teams to deliver results.
- Lead and execute account plans, expand customer relationships, and identify opportunities to grow within accounts.
- Adopt a solutions-selling mindset, proactively sourcing new business opportunities and creatively solving hiring challenges.
- Guide internal teams and stakeholders to adopt best practices, ensuring consistency in account execution.
- Provide detailed reporting, insights, and analysis of your accounts and pipeline to inform business decisions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, understand the competitive landscape, and use insights to drive strategic advantage.
Requirements
- 10+ years in enterprise sales/account management, ideally in technology, GRC, or related sectors.
- Strategic thinker able to align solutions to business objectives and navigate complex sales cycles independently.
- Influencer and relationship builder able to engage senior leaders and stakeholders across all levels.
- Self-starter comfortable managing your own portfolio, making decisions, and driving results without constant oversight.
- Analytical and data-driven, able to deliver detailed insights and strategic recommendations.
- Outbound expertise with a strong expectation for proactive sourcing, creative outreach, and pipeline generation.
- Team collaborator who leverages cross-functional support while confidently running your own accounts.
