About the Role

The Housekeeping Department is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Westwood Country Club, both indoors and outdoors. This role involves working in assigned areas and following directions from management to ensure all facilities are clean, maintained, and resupplied. The position requires a groomed appearance, adherence to uniform standards, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of the Club including the Main Club House, Offices, Tennis Center, Tennis Courts, Pool, and Marina.
Clean, maintain, and resupply all facilities throughout the Club.
Clean and maintain linens and towel inventories.
Clean hot tubs, steam rooms, and supply necessary towels in locker rooms.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Empty wastebaskets.
Wipe and clean windowsills, chairs, walls, light switches, baseboards, mirrors, and windows.
Clean and sanitize toilets.
Wash tiles, tub, shower walls, wipe shower curtains and fixtures in the locker rooms.
Restock all areas with towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses, and other supplies.
Vacuum, dust, and mop hallways, rugs, and floors daily.
Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
Stock storage rooms.
Attend staff meetings.
Execute MaintainX work orders and program.
Follow work assignments.
Check lamps for burned-out light bulbs and report to maintenance.
Be polite and courteous when dealing with members and co-workers.
Wear personal protective equipment as required.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively.
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Must wear personal protective equipment as required, such as safety gloves and safety glasses.
Must be able to follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
