About the Role

We are seeking highly talented and driven software engineers to join our Engineering team in London. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver working code that solves real problems for customers. You will own the services managed by your team, ensuring development aligns with the AlphaSights Engineering strategy and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for those passionate about solving problems with code and working with exceptional colleagues in a high-achievement environment.

Responsibilities

Design technical solutions to business problems and contribute to an architectural vision.
Ship working code using React on the frontend and Kotlin microservices with Postgres on the backend.
Deploy and iterate frequently, gathering feedback to inform future development.
Build competency by developing market-leading technology with experienced colleagues.
Monitor services, diagnose root causes of errors, and deploy fixes.

Requirements

Experience working at a similar level in a mature Engineering team.
Deep technical expertise in frontend engineering, including designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable frontend systems using modern frameworks (ideally React).
Proven track record of making a demonstrable impact in previous roles.
Highly driven and proactive, independently pushing through hurdles to achieve excellent outcomes.
Meticulous with high standards and obsessive attention to detail.
