About the Role
As a Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion, you may work with other companies' products in the stores you service.
Responsibilities
- Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device.
- Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys for required merchandising activities.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide additional support and extended hours during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- Participate in installations and tasks such as building fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting card sections, with advance notice.
- Support other team members in their territories as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must sign an Employment Agreement and an agreement to arbitrate in connection with the Hallmark Dispute Resolution Program.
- Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
