About the Role
Join a growing organization that is transforming access to dental care! We’re looking for a Provider Network Manager who is passionate about building and maintaining strong provider networks. In this role, you will play a vital part in recruiting and retaining General Dentists and Specialists while supporting providers through education, training, and strategic relationship-building. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, conduct market analysis, and ensure providers align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Recruit General Dentists and Specialists to meet network adequacy and corporate objectives.
- Analyze existing provider networks to identify recruitment needs based on access standards and cost effectiveness.
- Conduct competitor analysis and develop strategic recruitment plans for assigned markets.
- Negotiate fee schedules and contract terms to align with company goals.
- Support network providers within assigned territories with claims issues, grievances, facility updates, and contract guidance.
- Conduct on-site provider orientations and structural audits as needed.
- Collect and process provider contracts, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with providers.
- Deliver monthly activity reports and updates on recruitment and retention progress.
- Educate providers on Liberty policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalated provider concerns and lead problem-solving efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates in Central New York; strong preference given to candidates in this region.
- Local commuting within Central New York
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in network management, dental office management, managed healthcare, and/or related sales.
- Prior experience working with Medicaid, Medicare and/or DHMO networks is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and minimum $100,000 liability insurance.
- Availability to travel 50% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
- No relocation assistance or sponsorship available at this time.
Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and credentialing processes.
- Strong communication, public speaking, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to identify and resolve problems independently.
- Experience with Medicaid or Medicare is a plus.

- $68,640 - $80,000
