About the Role
We’re hiring a Shop Helper for our fleet service shop—someone who’s self-motivated, hardworking, and ready to be part of a great team. If you have previous truck driving or yard jockey/spotter experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Wash trailers (interior/exterior) for external customers
- Move and back up semi-trailers using the yard truck
- Maintain a clean shop, wash bay, and fuel island
- Fuel company equipment
- Operate various vehicles and machinery
- Follow all company and customer policies
- Handle additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible to work varied schedules and overtime when needed
- Maintains a professional appearance and a respectful, team-focused attitude
- Strong work ethic—motivated to get the job done right
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screen
- Committed to workplace safety
- Basic computer skills for work orders and time tracking
- Proficient in safely operating Yard Truck, Forklift, and Shop Truck
- Unrestricted driver’s license
- Successful completion of 40-hours of Yard Truck Driving Course
- Successful completion of a Forklift Certification Course
