About the Role
This role focuses on evaluating and improving AI-generated content across a wide range of finance and accounting topics. You will apply deep finance expertise to validate responses, design realistic business scenarios, and provide detailed feedback that enhances the accuracy, reliability, and professional quality of AI systems used by finance and accounting professionals. This is a project-based opportunity to leverage your financial background in an emerging field that is transforming how businesses make decisions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and validate AI-generated content across diverse finance and accounting topics to ensure accuracy, relevance, and professional quality.
- Review, compare, and score AI model responses to support the ongoing development, refinement, and benchmarking of AI systems.
- Develop high-quality, subject matter expert explanations and solutions to finance-related scenarios for training and evaluation purposes.
- Identify inaccuracies, questionable assumptions, or incomplete recommendations in AI outputs and provide detailed, constructive feedback to improve quality.
- Design realistic, real-world finance use cases based on professional experience, including business scenarios, supporting datasets, source materials, and objective evaluation criteria.
- Test AI performance against custom finance scenarios, analyze results, and refine tasks based on quality reviews and stakeholder feedback.
- Follow established project guidelines, documentation standards, and submission procedures with strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality work while maintaining productivity and meeting project timelines throughout the engagement.
- Present financial concepts, analyses, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and professional written format.
- Independently manage workload, priorities, and deadlines in a fully remote, project-based environment.
- Use modern workplace technology, including cloud-based collaboration platforms, online document management tools, and file-sharing workflows, to complete and submit work.
- Apply analytical thinking and sound financial judgment to evaluate information and apply real-world finance expertise to complex scenarios.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of finance experience in corporate finance or investment finance.
- Professional experience in disciplines such as corporate finance, investment analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), valuation, treasury, accounting, capital markets, or banking.
- Strong knowledge of finance functions, finance management, finance analysis, and finance reporting.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience performing finance-related responsibilities as an individual contributor, rather than solely in a leadership or oversight role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts, analyses, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and sound financial judgment when evaluating complex financial scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow documented processes, interpret written guidance, and incorporate feedback through multiple review cycles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment while independently managing workload, priorities, and deadlines.
- Comfort using modern workplace technology, including cloud-based collaboration platforms, online document management tools, software applications, and common file-sharing workflows.
- Availability to support a project-based engagement requiring approximately 30 to 40 hours per week over a 12-week period.
- Residence within the United States.
Skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience in credit analysis and credit risk assessment.
- Background in investment banking, investment analysis, investment planning, or investment management.
- Experience working with forecasting models and financial planning tools.
- General familiarity with artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and their business applications.
- Understanding of the broader AI and LLM landscape and its relevance to finance and accounting use cases.
- Interest in contributing to the development of AI tools used in corporate finance, FP&A, investment analysis, accounting, and business decision-making.
- Ability to design realistic finance and accounting scenarios, including supporting datasets and evaluation criteria, based on professional experience.
