About the Role
The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Partner Programs to manage key partner integrations with the Stellar Network. This role involves coordinating with partners and internal teams to build innovative blockchain solutions, managing integration roadmaps, and driving partner success.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and direct software and product development activities from launch to completion, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery.
- Own long-term partner integration roadmaps and the success of multiple partners in the Stellar ecosystem.
- Host and drive partner meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
- Identify and manage technical dependencies and blockers across partner and internal engineering teams.
- Maintain partner-related documentation, including milestone plans, dependencies, schedules, risks, and meeting notes.
- Measure program performance, analyzing the successful completion of short- and long-term goals against company and team OKRs.
- Define process frameworks, program plan templates, tools, and best practices for organizational adoption.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience managing software development programs in the financial services industry, including experience in a blockchain startup or small-company environment.
- Comfort engaging in technical discussions (APIs, integration flows, system dependencies) to coordinate with engineering, track technical risks, and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with blockchain/crypto concepts, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technical domains.
- Habit of using AI tools to enhance productivity in tasks like drafting, summarizing, research, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with partners from diverse backgrounds and positions.
- Great organizational skills, including attention to detail, multitasking, and process creation/institution.
- Experience with program and project management tools such as Jira, Airtable, Asana, Confluence, and Google Suite.
- Independent and results-driven attitude, with the ability to identify priorities and work in dynamic environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye for identifying and mitigating program life cycle issues.
- Aptitude for advocating for partners while supporting the company's mission.
- Willingness to travel as needed (mostly to the Americas/Europe).
- Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment with ambiguity and a willingness to wear multiple hats.
