About the Role
Haus is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to own the strategy and execution of building a predictable enterprise demand engine. This hands-on role involves defining target accounts, developing programs, and creating a repeatable process from first touch to pipeline, managing one direct report and agency relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own enterprise demand strategy, including defining and prioritizing target accounts using market data, intent signals, and AI.
- Build and execute account-based programs targeting enterprise pain points and buying signals with multi-touch campaigns for complex buying committees.
- Partner with Sales on account selection, campaign strategy, handoffs, and feedback loops.
- Expand reach to new buying audiences and leverage customer advocacy into repeatable demand through references, stories, and community programs.
- Own ICP, segmentation, and Demand Gen messaging, developing and testing segment-specific value propositions.
- Partner with Product Marketing to sharpen differentiation against competitors.
- Own the Demand Gen budget and channel strategy across paid, content, email/lifecycle, events, webinars, and sponsorships.
- Set priorities and measure impact for all Demand Gen programs.
- Ensure all programs have a clear objective and connection to pipeline.
- Build the Demand Gen operating system, including pipeline modeling, reporting, attribution, funnel measurement, and performance tracking.
- Use data to continuously improve programs and spend, making decisions with imperfect attribution or incomplete data.
- Manage and develop one direct report.
- Oversee agency and contractor relationships.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in Demand Generation, with direct ownership of a pipeline number.
- Experience building an ABM or enterprise demand motion from the ground up.
- Track record of generating pipeline in enterprise sales environments with long, multi-stakeholder buying cycles.
- Experience defining an ICP and developing messaging for different audiences.
- Comfortable getting hands-on with intent, signal, and other Demand Gen tooling.
- Strong understanding of paid acquisition and ability to set strategy, manage budgets, and hold agencies accountable.
- Strong analytical skills and a practical approach to attribution, funnel reporting, and pipeline modeling.
- Strong track record of partnering with Sales.
- Marketing to marketers, or selling martech, measurement, or analytics is a plus.
- Experience at a company making the mid-market-to-enterprise transition is a plus.
- Familiarity with ad tech, media buying, marketing analytics is a plus.
- A history of displacing entrenched legacy vendors is a plus.
- Early-stage experience where you built the function rather than joined it is a plus.
