About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as required.
Support a professional, welcoming environment while maintaining awareness of confidential workspaces, restricted areas, and technology assets.

Requirements

A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
