About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist supports the Talent Acquisition function by identifying exceptional talent, building high-quality candidate pipelines, and executing sourcing strategies. This role serves as the team's sourcing expert, researching talent markets, engaging passive candidates, and reducing reliance on external recruiting agencies.
Responsibilities
- Research talent markets, competitor organizations, industry trends, and emerging sourcing channels.
- Identify, engage, and attract passive candidates through various sourcing methods.
- Build, maintain, and cultivate talent pipelines for active hiring needs, workforce planning, and future demand.
- Develop compelling, personalized outreach to communicate employer value proposition and inspire candidate interest.
- Conduct screens to assess alignment with role requirements before introducing candidates to the Talent Acquisition team.
- Build long-term relationships with prospective candidates through consistent engagement.
- Support the development of diverse talent pipelines to expand access to exceptional talent.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition function, including recruiting admin and onboarding support.
- Review and edit job descriptions and postings for consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate recruiting data, candidate records, and sourcing activity within the ATS.
- Deliver a responsive, professional, and engaging candidate experience.
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Partner to understand hiring priorities.
- Share market intelligence, sourcing insights, and competitive research.
- Support Talent Acquisition initiatives and operational activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on talent sourcing, agency recruiting, executive search research, or recruiting experience with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates.
- Experience supporting recruiting across manufacturing, merchandising, marketing, finance, planning, or supply chain.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Experience building candidate pipelines across multiple job families while supporting multiple concurrent hiring priorities.
- Experience using HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
