About the Role

The Sr. Buyer is responsible for driving sales, profit, and inventory objectives across multiple categories and channels. This includes determining product assortment, pricing, promotion, liaising with marketing, conducting financial analyses, reporting, and monitoring store execution. The role requires strong leadership skills to facilitate innovation and teamwork, supporting a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for achieving Omni-channel sales, profit and inventory targets for the assigned category.
  • Conduct post-season analysis including market share data for developing & executing assortment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to ensure lowest market costs, late shipping discounts, end of season MD credits, and inventory RTV’s.
  • Drive Go-to-Market strategies developing seasonal plans and executing promotional activities.
  • Collaborate in setting merchandising direction for different retail formats in efforts to maximize sales productivity while maintaining execution excellence.
  • Provide coaching, and direction to the Category Team including feedback and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 7 years minimum Buying experience required.
  • Proven ability to deliver results including P&L management skills.
  • Strong Customer Orientation.
  • Results-driven, strategic thinking and ability to influence others.
  • Excellent communicator up, down and across the enterprise.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize customer and market insight and information in the product identification and development process.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to develop short and long term plans in line with corporate strategies.
