About the Role
Visions Federal Credit Union is seeking Temporary Member Service Representatives for their Rochester, NY branch. This frontline role involves assisting members with daily transactions, providing excellent service, and supporting them with accuracy and care. The position is temporary, expected to last through December/January, with the exact end date dependent on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional service while assisting members with routine transactions and account-related needs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and following established procedures.
- Create a welcoming, member-centered experience that reflects Visions’ commitment to service.
- Communicate clearly, answer questions, and help connect members with appropriate resources or support.
- Maintain attention to detail while balancing service, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced branch environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous teller, cash handling, customer service, or member service experience is a plus.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and service skills.
- Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform basic math functions.
- Commitment to following credit union policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements.
