About the Role
Lead and mentor a team of project managers driving initiatives that expand AppleCare across Enterprise, Education, Carrier, and Authorized Reseller channels. Own portfolio governance, drive architectural integrity, lead capital planning, and partner closely with teams across Apple.
Responsibilities
- Manage AppleCare Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) project and program managers, focused on initiatives that support AppleCare growth in the Enterprise, Education, and Channel Sales markets.
- Oversee project scoping, technological solutions and architectural decisions, resource-planning, communications, project governance, risk management, change management, and readiness.
- Communicate and strategically collaborate with AppleCare business groups, IT organizations, and teams across Apple, including Sales, Enterprise and Education, Apple Services Engineering, Apple Store Online, Retail Stores, Operations, Strategic Data Solutions, and Geo Expansion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct people management experience, leading and developing teams of Technical Program Managers or Project Managers.
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex, global cross-functional technology projects involving multi-tier enterprise systems.
- Deep technical proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), service-oriented architectures, API lifecycle management, and systems design principles.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise systems implementations and integrations, such as ERP (e.g., SAP), CRM/CMS platforms, B2B web applications, and reporting/data analytics platforms.
- Strong portfolio, budget, and capital management skills, with proven success in resource allocation, deadline management, and scope control.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a track record of facilitating cross-functional alignment between engineering and business leadership.
- Hands-on, analytical problem solver who maintains a high-level strategic perspective while diving deep into technical details, integration contracts, and root-cause analyses.
