About the Role

We are seeking Commercial & Corporate Lawyers to advise clients at leading companies on commercial and corporate matters. You will specialize in areas such as corporate governance, supply chain, government contracts, procurement, or marketing and advertising.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to business teams on commercial, corporate, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including supplier, procurement, vendor, services, distribution, manufacturing, technology, marketing, and advertising agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance, supply chain, procurement, government contracts/public procurement, or marketing and advertising.
• Partner with legal and business stakeholders to identify and manage contractual, regulatory, and commercial risks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of legal experience in corporate governance, supply chain, government contracts/public procurement, procurement, or marketing and advertising, preferably with in-house experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and/or advising business stakeholders on corporate, governance, regulatory, or commercial matters.
• Strong ability to provide practical legal guidance and work cross-functionally with business teams.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, providing proof of identity, and possessing the necessary legal authorization to work.
