About the Role

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies to support efficient international transportation, production, distribution, and inventory management of finished goods, optimizing product flow and contributing to operational excellence, quality standards, and cost efficiency for global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct distribution and network optimizations, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies for desired delivery and On-time, In-full fill rates.
  • Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers.
  • Create delivery documents to freight forwarders and customers in a timely manner.
  • Allocate available inventory to orders.
  • Generate and distribute metrics reports.
  • Manage activities among shipping locations, planners, and/or freight forwarders to achieve service targets.
  • Identify patterns and recognize opportunities for Supply Chain improvements.
  • Manage Purchase Orders to ensure product and transportation availability for customer shipments.
  • Serve as the main contact and SME for international logistics.
  • Interface with planning groups to ensure and maintain inventory levels at warehouses to meet service requirements.
  • Identify point of manufacture (POM) opportunities and take actions to capitalize on them.
  • Review and make appropriate business decisions regarding inventory/product allocation and actively manage service metrics to established targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in international logistics or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analysis, including interpretation, trend identification, and recommendations for action.
  • Demonstrated understanding and implementation of various transportation options to meet service levels cost-effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international logistics.
  • Demonstrated understanding and coordination of production schedules and inventory deployment.
  • Solid communication skills, including verbal and written capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time.
