About the Role

The Platforms Practice specializes in mission-critical, intelligent platforms for ambitious organizations, using a product-driven, AI-centric approach to empower them for the intelligent digital future. Software engineers are problem solvers comfortable across the technology stack, essential for delivering expected product and platform outcomes. In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs.
Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience.
Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience.
3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal
Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents
Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI
Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts
Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing
Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase
Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance
A passion for delivering commercial software products and platforms to market
Be deeply technical and constantly in a state of learning
Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with a variety of audiences including developers, clients, customers, partners and executives
Fearless in getting “hands-on” with technology and execution
Strong understanding of modern software engineering processes
Deep understanding and interest in cloud and distributed systems architectures
Comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarity
Experience leading and growing technical talent (for software engineering managers)
Experience in complex problem-solving and critical thinking.

US base salary range: $102,500 to $187,900
New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) base salary range: $122,900 to $213,400
