About the Role

Tomlinson's Delivery Associates are responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers and businesses, ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service while adhering to assigned routes and transportation laws.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a timely manner.
• Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from clients.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and customer communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.).
• Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.
• Assist in-store between delivery runs.

Requirements

• Delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Must have up to date car registration.
• Must have a smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders.

Salary/Compensations

• $15 per hour starting rate
• Mileage reimbursement of 76 cents per mile driven
• Average earnings between $20 - $25/hour with mileage reimbursement
