About the Role

Contribute to groundbreaking research focusing on understanding the role of intracellular pathways in immune cell phenotype, migration to tissues, and inflammation. This is a hands-on laboratory position applying molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology to elucidate disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets, involving close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and apply molecular biology, biochemistry, and cellular immunology techniques.
  • Elucidate disease pathways and validate therapeutic targets.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve research objectives.
  • Isolate immune cells for downstream analysis.
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work.
  • Collect tissues from rodents (colon, spleen, lymph nodes, bone marrow).
  • Analyze data from single cell or bulk RNA-seq.

Requirements

  • PhD (or equivalent) in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in cellular and molecular immunology techniques including primary cell isolation from human blood, in vitro immunological assays and multi-dimensional flow cytometry.
  • Experience in cell engineering (e.g. protein overexpression methods, CRISPR-mediated KO techniques).
  • Hands-on experience in collecting tissues from rodents (colon, spleen, lymph nodes, bone marrow).
  • Analysis of data from single cell or bulk RNA-seq is preferred.
