About the Role

Empire Merchants North is seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting team. This role is crucial for managing supplier accounts receivable and ensuring accurate financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection and invoicing duties on Supplier Accounts for items such as samples, incentives, DA’s, unsaleables, and special billings.
• Manage Supplier Accounts Receivable.
• Create, update, and analyze the Supplier AR Aging Report.
• Collect on open Accounts Receivable by working with Supplier Representatives and Supplier AP.
• Provide feedback and resolution for Supplier Open Accounts Receivable by monitoring the Supplier AR mailbox.
• Assist Cash Application Clerks with processing checks and credit memos for Supplier AR.
• Process invoices for Allowance of Doubtful Accounts and maintain the write-off schedule.
• Provide copies of invoices as requested.
• Provide a monthly list of paid unsaleables for destruction.
• Handle invoicing for Co-Packs, Brand expenses, Price book inserts, Displays, Wine Lists and Signs, Hart tastings, and Billback for Misc. AR postings.
• Process incentives, including accrual, tying to PR, billing, and cash claims.
• Back up the Supplier Business Analyst for monthly invoicing.
• Settle DA’s to ensure complete processing, running the manual settlement process if necessary.
• Reconcile the Supplier AR account 12112.
• Back up the Internal Order database by Supplier and Brand.
• Provide monthly Moet DPP backup to the Brand Manager.
• Run and print monthly statements and invoices, emailing suppliers.
• Handle Gallo Special billings.
• Back up daily cash banking emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
