About the Role

This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cutting-edge gaming technology, products, and content for iconic casinos and operators globally. As a member of the award-winning Field Service team, you will ensure the proper operation of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM's) and Electronic Table Games (ETG's).

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on EGMs, ETGs, and equipment according to Gaming Commission and company standards.
  • Ensure proper operations of EGMs and ETGs via diagnostic tests, software settings, and functional testing.
  • Navigate Management Terminal (MT) daily to verify EGM status.
  • Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change order where applicable.
  • Complete accurate Incident Reports in accordance with Gaming Commission and company standards.
  • Complete required maintenance records clearly and precisely.
  • Complete detailed daily/weekly tech logs.
  • Adhere to L&W's Field Service established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow L&W's safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, and electricity).
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.
  • Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning.
  • Review customer issues with management and technical lead as they arise.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting techniques to isolate and correct problems down to an assembly level.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
  • Transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
  • Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally.
  • Travel requirements may include working at other facilities within our department.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices.
  • Basic understanding of network communication and network troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of PC operation and security risks relating to PC operation.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Ability to read and understand Light & Wonder schematics and service manuals.
  • Able to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of current Light & Wonder gaming devices to the assembly level.
  • Good problem-solving skills.

Work Type

  • 3rd shift
  • Sunday through Wednesday, 5:00pm to 4:00am

Experience Level

  • One year experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.

Education Level

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College level electronics training helpful.

Salary/Compensations

  • $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Eligibility to receive other supplemental earnings such as over-time.
