About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing complex industrial construction projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate with teams to manage schedule changes, solve problems, and make independent decisions to control costs for a portfolio of projects. This role requires spending time on job sites to manage and address issues, with your input being crucial for overcoming challenges and completing projects successfully.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to corporate safety and management policies, promoting a culture of safety.
- Engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage industrial construction, renovation, and expansion projects from concept to start-up, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and with zero harm.
- Lead feasibility concepts and provide technical expertise for cost and schedule estimations related to funding requests and business cases.
- Oversee project objectives, schedule, budget, engineering, construction, administration, quality assurance/quality control, resources, and communication.
- Identify and communicate project risks early.
- Demonstrate commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and exhibit safe behaviors.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7-10 years of experience with projects exceeding $5M in process industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project Management software, Smartsheet, SAP, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Promotion of a culture of safety and exhibition of safe behaviors.
- Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators.
- Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests.
