About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team, projects, and programs, ensuring preliminary activities like outcome determination, milestone setting, viability studies, and resource planning are completed.
• Ensure all assigned projects and programs are completed according to predetermined requirements, focusing on product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
• Document all phases of project, program, and process development, and report or transfer required information to other functional areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including engineering/lab notebooks, patents, intellectual property, confidentiality, ISO, and safety.
• Establish departmental budgets and spending requirements, ensuring effective utilization of material and financial resources in alignment with AOP for maximum productivity.
• Assign work to subordinate staff, providing for professional development and coaching.
• Spearhead research and development of new manufacturing technologies and ensure incorporation into products/services or dissemination as needed.
• Utilize common engineering technology and software packages for optimizing design development activities and timelines to ensure rapid commercialization.

Requirements
