About the Role

Develop, implement, and sustain quality systems to ensure product and service delivery exceeds quality requirements. Lead facility-wide total quality activities for continuous process improvement and cost reduction. Responsible for maintaining ISO9001, AS9100, and Military QPL maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and mentor the Quality department team.
• Oversee incoming quality and supplier performance.
• Develop and drive customer-specific quality requirements.
• Interface with customers to resolve quality problems by determining root cause and corrective actions.
• Lead quality team efforts to improve internal quality.
• Implement sustainable quality processes in the production process.
• Support Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service in resolving quality problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Address customer-specific quality problems using FBS processes and tools.
• Utilize the Daily Management Process.
• Develop audit programs and procedures for all levels of audit activity.
• Ensure consistency of purchased components through vendor certification, effective acceptance criteria, and product monitoring.
• Provide support and information for new and sustaining product development regarding quality processes, tooling, and fixtures, aimed at one-piece flow.
• Maintain ISO and AS9100 quality systems.

Requirements

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully lead projects involving cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and technical presentation skills.
• Highly organized and task-focused, with little to no supervision required.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent proficiency with all common software; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret strategic business templates and information.
• Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Required to respect and protect all confidential, privileged, personal, legally regulated and proprietary information.
