About the Role
Coordinate and oversee city route schedules, functions, and delivery specialists for hub-to-spoke store deliveries. Serve as the primary contact for city delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
- Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice, ensuring parts are pulled and ready for delivery by scheduled time.
- Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to city delivery specialist pickup.
- Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
- Ensure hub delivery specialists are running on schedule and communicate any delays to stores.
- Monitor hub system and routes for efficiency, productivity, and expense reduction, communicating recommendations to the store manager.
- Ensure team members clock in and out according to company policy.
- Research undelivered parts and make necessary billing adjustments.
- Collaborate with the store manager to ensure route coverage during delivery specialist absences.
- Work with the store manager and delivery specialist to ensure vehicle maintenance and thorough inspections, logging daily mileage.
- Provide input to the store manager regarding delivery specialists' performance for evaluations.
Requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
