About the Role

The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) hires temporary contractors to support, coach, and supervise teacher interns in the PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction and Education Specialist Mild to Moderate and Extensive Support Needs Intern Program. Coaches will guide teacher interns in integrating course content into their teaching practices over two years and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in assigned fieldwork.

Responsibilities

  • Support, coach, and supervise teacher interns.
  • Integrate course content into teaching practices.
  • Direct and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in Education Practicum Fieldwork & Supervision.

Requirements

  • Must be available to meet in West Contra Costa County.
  • Must provide proof of a valid California driver's license if hired.
  • Credential Copy (Proof of a valid Clear California Multiple Subject or PK3 ECE Specialist Instruction).
  • Letter of Introduction.
  • Resume.
