About the Role

As an IVU Expert at FlixTrain, you will be the primary point of contact for IVU, bridging the gap between operations and personnel planning to ensure FlixTrain's growth is manageable and efficient. You will be responsible for IVU as a central planning tool, closely linking operational planning with medium and long-term personnel planning. Your work will ensure personnel requirements are available by location and time slot, forming the basis for informed reporting and recruiting decisions across the COO area.

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for IVU, serving as the interface between operations and personnel planning within the COO area.
Introduce and continuously develop IVU applications as a Super User in operations and personnel planning.
Train internal employees and external partner companies on IVU usage and share knowledge.
Implement and develop the new intra-year construction module according to the Annex VII process, including committee work and support for BNetzA topics.
Optimize rotations, services, and service sequences for quality, reliability, and cost for current and future timetable periods, as well as associated intra-year time slots.
Determine medium to long-term personnel requirements and provide location-specific personnel requirement calculations (FTE) per time slot.
Model various personnel requirement scenarios for FlixTrain's growth and derive recommendations for reporting units and recruiting targets.

Requirements

Completed degree or apprenticeship in transport/logistics or a comparable field.
Experience in operations and/or personnel planning in passenger or freight rail transport.
In-depth knowledge of the IVU program, beyond that of a normal user, particularly in optimizing service and rotation plans.
Strong commercial and technical understanding to evaluate and develop planning scenarios.
Ability to work in a structured and self-reliant manner with a strong hands-on mentality.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to act as a liaison between different departments.
Fluent German language skills; additional foreign languages are a plus.
