About the Role
The role requires a smart, motivated professional to optimize how project performance is tracked, trended, and visualized for critical data center construction projects worldwide for a high-profile tech client.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and review project performance.
- Coordinate with on-site team members.
- Track progress and report results.
- Support the development and implementation of KPI frameworks to measure project and program performance.
- Identify, collect, validate, and analyze program performance data from multiple sources.
- Establish baseline performance metrics and evaluate trends over time.
- Develop reporting processes, dashboards, scorecards, and analysis tools to monitor program effectiveness.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify correlations between training initiatives and project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain performance tracking databases and reporting tools.
- Assist with the development of new performance measures where existing data is insufficient.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
- Support program leadership with ad hoc data analysis and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry best practices in project controls, project management, capital program delivery, and organizational capability development.
- Develop training materials, case studies, job aids, and presentations for capital project leaders.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of professional development programs.
- Translate technical concepts and lessons learned into engaging training content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through performance metrics and feedback analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, program controls teams, training leads, and executive stakeholders.
- Assist in the facilitation of workshops and working sessions to identify performance measures and reporting requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership teams and client stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing project delivery performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of consulting experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
- Experience supporting capital projects, capital programs, infrastructure, construction, or real estate portfolios.
- Knowledge of program controls disciplines including scheduling, cost management, performance reporting, risk management, and controls governance.
- Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into concise recommendations for leadership audiences.
- Experience developing training curricula, learning programs, or professional development content.
- Familiarity with project management and program controls industry best practices.
- Experience performing benchmarking and industry research within the AEC sector.
- Knowledge of capital program delivery frameworks and organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with large datasets and performance measurement programs.
- Proficiency with tools such as PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with PMO, project controls, or project management methodologies.
