About the Role
An Intern in the BDO Advisory practice supports the Firm's dynamic client base by assisting with the design and operationalization of risk and resilience programs. This role provides exposure to client delivery, technology enablement, product management, research, documentation review, workshop support, and the development of client work products.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the development of client solutions, including risk analytic frameworks, policies, training materials, plans and procedures
- Participates in engagement fact finding, including review of existing client documentation, data and discussions with client contacts
- Supports requirements gathering and documentation for business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management, third-party risk and enterprise risk programs
- Assists with the preparation and tailoring of PowerPoint presentations, reports, workshop materials, client work products and statements of work
- Participates in client workshops and internal working sessions, documenting key discussion points, findings, follow-ups and conclusions
- Compiles program metrics and performs basic research or analysis using documented procedures, available tools and guidance from the engagement team
- Tracks assigned work progress and keeps engagement team members informed of status, open items and potential issues
- Supports business development and internal practice initiatives, including client research and proposal support, as assigned

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Risk Management, required
- Professional client service experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint, preferred
- Proficient in artificial intelligence (AI) tools, preferred

- California Range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
- Colorado Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
- Illinois Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
- NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
