About the Role
We are seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across the Technology & AI function, translating our strategic ambition into workforce requirements, shaping the organization and building the capabilities needed for the future. As a Senior HRBP within the Global HR Tech & AI team, you will be a strategic workforce architect, executing a forward-looking talent strategy while building robust and trusted business partnerships. This role will also depend on deep, proactive collaboration across our global HR network to deliver the broader AXA XL people strategic initiatives effectively and consistently.
Responsibilities
- Translate our technology & AI strategy into a forward-looking people, organization and workforce agenda, executing our workforce strategy with a core focus on skills and capabilities needed 2–5 years from now.
- Assess profiles and skills to understand our work and outcomes, including build/buy/borrow/automate decisions and the evolving intersection of human talent, automation and AI-enabled work.
- Actively engage in emerging Tech & AI talent trends, scarce/new skills, competitor practices and evolving workforce models, across all industries alongside Insurance.
- Understand technology investment, productivity, capacity, location strategy and talent economics while connecting Tech & AI decisions to broader enterprise implications.
- Use workforce intelligence, skills data and scenario planning to shape decisions and challenge assumptions, moving to predictive analytics to execute our workforce strategy.
Requirements
- Resilience & comfort in ambiguity: Remain effective and ability to pivot when priorities shift, in a transformative landscape where we are solving new emerging business challenges.
- Coaching & Executive counsel: Build credibility to challenge senior leaders constructively, to onboard or integrate into a newly formed Tech & AI leadership team, building high performance.
- Strategic influence & trust: Build trusted relationships quickly and influence senior stakeholders through credibility, insight, and collaboration.
- Change leadership at pace: Create readiness, adoption and sustained behavior change while the workforce evolves.
- Learning agility & curiosity: Possess a relentless appetite to understand emerging technologies, workforce trends and the evolution of technology & AI impacts on our people/organization.
- Solution oriented: Apply LEAN thinking to look at the problem we are solving for and creating value. Shaping solutions from ambiguity, test, learn, course-correct and keep moving – iterate and evolve.
- AI & technology fluency: Ability to understand a technical landscape, tools, technology & concepts (GenAI, automation, data, applications, integrations, product model) and the broader technology ecosystem to credibly engage technical leaders and understand workforce implications.
- AI-enabled workforce design: Assess our function & work that can be augmented, automated or redesigned and which human capabilities become more important as a result.
- Skills-based workforce planning: Challenge current ways of working to be relentless in our pursuit for profiles / capabilities required to execute, with a future-lens, including skills adjacency, reskilling, transferability and targeted acquisition.
- Workforce transformation & strategy: Deliver solutions aligning to our workforce strategy, anticipate capability gaps and create practical build/buy/borrow/automate strategies.
- Digital adoption & AI enablement: Recognize that deploying technology is not transformation; help leaders create the conditions for success - skills, behaviors, culture and ways of working required.
