About the Role

Valuation Interns are integral members of client service teams, gaining exposure to diverse industries and company types. The Valuation Services group specializes in valuing closely held companies, intangible assets, derivatives, and other assets/liabilities for various financial and strategic purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with and participate in select phases of valuation engagements.
  • Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Support and assist with select projects, demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative as a team member.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Eligible students should be in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree program or in their 4th year of a 5-year degree program.
  • Interns typically join during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
  • Andersen will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
