About the Role
Oversee the execution, delivery, and reporting of advertising campaigns across podcast, web, newsletters, and emerging platforms. This role involves campaign setup, trafficking, delivery monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and operational support for both direct-sold and programmatic advertising.
Responsibilities
- Manage sponsorship campaigns across audio, display, newsletter, social media, and emerging platforms.
- Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and inventory utilization to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Proactively identify and resolve delivery issues in coordination with internal teams, vendors, and advertising partners.
- Support the execution and monitoring of programmatic campaigns, PMP deals, and marketplace activity.
- Maintain advertising systems, workflows, and operational documentation.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Assist with the implementation of new advertising products, sponsorship opportunities, and monetization initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support campaign execution across advertising technology platforms and distribution channels.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for sellers, clients, and internal stakeholders on NYPR’s advertising technology capabilities, measurement solutions, campaign reporting, and implementation requirements.
- Stay informed on advertising industry standards, measurement practices, privacy considerations, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in advertising operations, campaign management, digital media, or related fields.
- Experience working with ad servers, trafficking platforms, podcast advertising platforms, social media advertising platforms, or other advertising technology systems.
- Strong understanding of campaign delivery, pacing, reporting, troubleshooting, and digital advertising workflows.
- Experience with podcast advertising platforms, including Adswizz, and/or Google Ad Manager or similar ad-serving platforms.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising concepts, PMP deals, third-party tracking, ad tags, digital measurement tools, and attribution methodologies.
- Experience supporting paid social campaigns or social media advertising operations.
- Comfort working within ad tech platforms and learning new technologies as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working within digital publishing, media, podcasting, or public media environments preferred.
