About the Role
Kickstart your career in energy management and automation through our Digital Engineering Application/Technician Development Program. This opportunity is designed for individuals with a two-year technical degree who are ready to apply their knowledge of electrical systems, networking, and software in a hands-on environment. You'll complete a six-month training program before transitioning into an Associate System Commissioning Specialist role supporting customers across the United States. Through real-world projects, technical development, and customer engagement, you'll help power the digital transformation of critical electrical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support the deployment, configuration, and commissioning of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for data centers and commercial/industrial customers.
- Install, customize, and troubleshoot monitoring and control software used in electrical power distribution systems.
- Configure communications between devices and networks while troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and system documentation to support project execution.
- Collaborate with Application Engineers, contractors, and end users during construction and commissioning activities.
- Perform system startup, testing, customer training, and documentation of completed projects.
- Assist customers in defining system requirements and optimizing system performance.
Requirements
- Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Electrical Power Systems, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience installing software or operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience connecting devices or troubleshooting communications across a network.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-80%, depending on final assignment location.
- Ability and willingness to relocate within the United States following completion of the training program.
