About the Role

As an AMD intern/co-op, you’ll be placed at the epicenter of the AI ecosystem, working alongside experts and industry pioneers. Responsibilities

Support Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs through parametric, data and statistical analysis.
Perform engineering and correlation studies to ensure yield, coverage and meet target goals for production ramp.
Resolve production-related issues and improve efficiency by working with multi-functional teams.
Build and maintain technical documents.
Debug manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.
Participate in Product debug and characterization to identify product performance, process, and test sensitivities.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a US-based University in an Undergraduate's degree program majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of transistors and computer basics.
Courses in computer science, software engineering, digital logic, circuit theory, computer architecture.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

C++, Linux, Perl, Ruby, Shell script, Java or similar
GIT, SVN, CVS, RCS or similar
XP, AGILE, Scrum, or Kanban programming paradigms
Logic analyzers, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and debug
Knowledge/experience with technical skills (or related areas) and enthusiasm for the role.
