About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians (BT's) to provide 1-on-1 specialized treatment to children on the autism spectrum in a home-based setting. This role offers the opportunity to provide life-changing treatment with comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
  • Physically keep up with clients, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Perform other tasks as outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
