About the Role

Director of Sales will lead Prospr’s sales and service execution across priority business models, including Small Accounts, Online Direct-to-Client and Offline Direct-to-Client. This role is accountable for building clear ownership, strengthening service-to-sales discipline, improving client outcomes and developing a high-performing, inclusive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and service execution
  • Translate Prospr’s strategy into clear team priorities, operating routines, goals and accountability measures
  • Lead Sales Managers and their teams to deliver disciplined sales, service, retention and client engagement outcomes
  • Create a consistent leadership rhythm across weekly business management, regular coaching and quarterly talent and capability reviews
  • Strengthen service-to-sales execution by ensuring teams identify client needs and connect clients to appropriate life, health and wealth solutions
  • Build and foster a high-performing leadership team
  • Coach and develop managers and emerging leaders through clear expectations, regular feedback, development planning and succession actions
  • Build an inclusive, engaged and performance-oriented team culture that values client focus, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Manage staffing, spans of control, work allocation and succession planning to improve organizational resiliency and responsible expense management
  • Support performance management with timely, evidence-based conversations and appropriate partnership with HR and employee relations partners
  • Drive client experience and growth outcomes
  • Improve the consistency and quality of the client experience across virtual advice, service, campaigns and advisor handoffs
  • Use client insights, service levels, lead flow, conversion, persistency and other business indicators to identify opportunities and take action
  • Partner across Prospr to support Small Accounts, Online Direct-to-Client and Offline Direct-to-Client priorities, including mortgage-led growth and digital client journeys
  • Help evolve the service model so clients receive timely, needs-based support while Prospr scales efficiently
  • Operate with discipline, governance and continuous improvement
  • Monitor business and operational results, identify barriers and lead improvements that increase productivity, quality, sales effectiveness and client loyalty
  • Partner with Analytics, Finance, Operations and Digital Product teams to strengthen reporting, close data gaps, test new approaches and scale what works
  • Work with Legal, Compliance and Enablement partners to ensure regulatory, scripting, training, process and control requirements are understood and embedded
  • Contribute to Prospr leadership discussions with clear insight, balanced risk judgement and practical recommendations
  • Strengthen strategic alignment and partner confidence
  • Represent Sales & Service priorities in cross-functional planning, business reviews and leadership forums
  • Build strong partnerships with internal distribution, service, product, digital, growth and enablement teams to support integrated execution
  • Reinforce field and advisor confidence by improving clarity, responsiveness, service quality and consistent follow-through
  • Support Prospr’s broader operating model by clarifying decision rights, reducing overlap and creating sustainable leadership depth

Requirements

  • 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, service, advice, contact centre, digital distribution or financial services leadership
  • 5 to 10+ years of experience leading leaders and developing client-facing teams in a goal-oriented environment
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian financial services marketplace, including insurance and wealth products, client advice needs and regulated sales environments
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into clear priorities, measurable objectives, operating routines and practical execution plans
  • Strong coaching, performance management and talent development capability, including experience building succession depth and leading teams through change
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to assess business results, identify root causes and communicate recommendations to senior leaders
  • Demonstrated judgement, business acumen and ability to influence cross-functional partners while balancing client, employee, risk and business outcomes
  • Experience working in a hybrid or distributed environment and building strong team culture across locations
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required for Quebec-based roles and may be required for roles supporting frequent interactions with English- and French-speaking clients, colleagues or partners across Canada and globally
