About the Role

This role is responsible for all phases of the System Development Life Cycle for complex projects, including new development and maintenance tasks. The position offers tremendous career growth potential within an established organization.

Responsibilities

• Guiding the technical design for modernization of legacy systems.
• Coordinating technical solutions among various technical support groups.
• Making real-time changes in multiple systems to enable user group requests.
• Implementing technical solutions.
• Developing and maintaining tax processing system components.
• Supporting production tasks including issue analysis and defect resolution.
• Coordinating development activities and integration testing with the development team.
• Developing technical design documents and program specifications.
• Guiding requirements gathering sessions.
• Guiding the analysis of requirements and system design work.
• Coding and performing unit and integration tests.
• Writing and tuning SQL.
• Supporting user testing efforts.
• Performance tuning new and existing applications.
• Mentoring less experienced staff.

Requirements

• Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 months experience with Government Taxation organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of tax or audit systems.
• 84 months experience in designing processes (Choreography/Orchestration Processes) using technologies like WebSphere Process Server (WPS), IBM CP4BA (BAW – IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation), IBM CP4I (IBM Cloud Pak for Integration).
• 84 months experience in Design, Development and Management of Business Rules Architecture System involving Rules Entry UI System invoking portable Runtime Engine deployable in WPS (WebSphere Process Server), Decision Service Design and Development using ADS (Automation Decision Services – IBM Cloud Pak for Automation CP4BA).
• 84 months experience with SOA Component Development Architecture using J2EE Technologies (JMS, CTG, IBM EAD4J, JADE, Spring Framework, BPEL, IBM SCA/SDO Component Architecture) and working with develop tools like Elastic, Jenkins, GIT lab and JFROG.
• 84 Months Experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
• 84 months experience with Java Programming in an IBM Development Environment using IBM’s Rational Application Developer (RAD), WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) and using WebSphere Application Server (WAS)/ WebSphere Process Server as Runtime Environments.
• 36 months experience using IBM Red hat OpenShift Cloud Platform and Micro Services Architecture.
• 84 months of experience in Java Messaging Services using IBM MQ Series, IBM CP4I MQ (IBM Cloud Pak for Integration).
• 84 months of experience in IBM DB2 Data Modeling, creating logical Data Models, performance tuning of applications interacting with database systems.
