About the Role
The Senior Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all digital advertising campaigns across Time Out's inventory, including managed service, direct display, and PMP setups. This role involves trafficking, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting, crucial for meeting client expectations and maximizing sales revenue. The position is hybrid, reporting to the Director of Account Management and Operations, with two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Manage campaign setup and delivery across Direct, Programmatic (PG), LMS, display, high impact and DOOH, ensuring accurate setup and performance in line with North America revenue goals
- Traffic third party tags across rich media, HTML and JavaScript, implementing keyword and block lists as needed
- Troubleshoot campaigns, identify red flags early and ensure SLAs are met so assets and campaigns go live on time
- Generate campaign and ad previews for client approval and flag creative issues for optimization within SLA
- Own campaign reporting and analysis, including thorough end of campaign insights
- Oversee inventory forecasting for upcoming bookings, track reserved inventory and flag availability and sell through opportunities to management
- Deliver metrics and measurement requirements for agencies and clients, including viewability and brand safety through IAS and MOAT
- Maintain benchmarking across Time Out ad products against industry standards
- Build and manage Time Out's audience cohorts, delivering audience insights for end of campaign analysis
- Monitor OMP activity and equip Account Managers with insight to convert opportunities into PMP and PG deals
- Serve as a technical resource for Sales and their clients, advising on inventory and campaign delivery
- Management of operational support partners focused on the NA business and coordinate with Franchise partner campaign management
- Own relationships with creative vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for asset delivery, specs and troubleshooting
- Keep Sales, PMs and leadership aligned on campaign status through the Campaign Tracker
Requirements
- 3+ years of digital ad operations experience spanning campaign trafficking, quality assurance, troubleshooting and client facing communication
- Proficiency in GAM and SSP deal setup (e.g. Magnite)
- Experience managing display, programmatic and DOOH campaigns
- Hands on experience with brand safety and ad verification tools, including implementation, reporting and optimization
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work toward client KPIs
- Ability to collaborate across internal teams on strategic initiatives, such as video integration and optimization for programmatic demand
