About the Role
This position assists with implementing the agency’s compliance program, conducts internal compliance investigations, and represents the department as requested.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal compliance investigations and prepare investigative reports.
- Ensure internal compliance investigations adhere to department policies and procedures, with timely and quality reports.
- Develop and ensure implementation of investigation recommendations.
- Monitor investigation responses for timely and appropriate action.
- Assist with responding to government audits, surveys, and inquiries.
- Process, store, and utilize confidential information according to agency policy and regulations.
- Respond to departmental and program questions or issues promptly.
- Assist with compliance training and develop training materials.
- Represent the department at meetings.
- Stay current on compliance regulations, statutes, and agency training.
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Computer and communication knowledge or skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
- Working knowledge of developmental disabilities.
- Sound judgment, flexibility, and dependability.
