About the Role

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations with tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines.
• Report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Complete other reasonable requests from management.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
• Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
