About the Role
Ignite the next generation of scientists as a Children’s Party Entertainer at Mad Science. In this role, you’ll bring jaw-dropping experiments to life and spark a lifelong curiosity in kids all over Long Island. Get ready to inspire young minds, lead hands-on labs, and make learning an absolute blast.
Responsibilities
- Instruct interactive 45 minute – 1-hour long parties, engaging children in an outgoing, personable manner.
- Pick up party kits from our office, based in East Meadow, NY, and arrive to assigned workshops in a punctual manner, setting and cleaning up promptly and efficiently.
- Show up with energy, humor, and silliness to bring the fun and love of science to children!
- Ability to adapt programming to a diverse range of children’s birthday parties and prepare kits accordingly.
Requirements
- Experience with pre-school or elementary-aged children in an interactive setting
- Reliable transportation able to transport a medium-sized bin to the location you will be instructing.
- Ability to transport and lift materials 30-50 pounds.
- Ability to use vehicle to travel within and service all of Nassau and Suffolk counties.
