About the Role
Check Point is seeking a high-impact Major Account Manager to acquire new strategic logos and drive growth across a focused portfolio of existing customers and prospects. This role involves shaping multi-year account strategies, leading complex deals with senior decision-makers, and coordinating virtual account teams to deliver customer outcomes in a channel-friendly environment. It offers the opportunity to own a critical territory, build trusted executive relationships, and help leading organizations secure their digital and AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts
- Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts
- Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access
- Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
- Lead contract and pricing negotiations
- Prioritize effectively across a large book of business
- Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast
- Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc)
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure
- Proven success selling into State, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
- Strong understanding of State of Florida procurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
